The description of our bear hunts is directly connected to the greatness of the Yakutat area. Boasting many miles of sandy beaches and the largest glaciers of North America with Mt. St. Elias presiding over it all, this is truly a place worth visiting! The Yakutat forelands has some of the finest salmon spawning grounds in the state which support a very strong brown bear population as shown by the length of our hunting season September 1- May 31st. We have an 80% success rate with and 8 1/2 foot average with some bears nearing 10 feet.
SPRING Bear HUNTS
April -May
Our Spring hunts are 10 day combination brown bear and glacier/black bear hunts. They are tent based and are primarily spot and stalk. 2025 Spring Bear Hunt Price: $25,000 with a $6,000 trophy fee for the second animal.
Fall Bear Hunts
September - October
We run 8 day brown bear hunts in the fall. Our fall hunts are lodge or tent based and are more up close and personal, as we hare hunting in the alder chocked creeks filled with spawning salmon. 2025 Fall Brown Bear Hunt Price: $20,000
